From managing small Palo Alto office buildings as a summer job during college, to eventually earning Rookie of the Year in his early Palo Alto based brokerage career, Mike has been a high performer.  Mike was given an opportunity to participate in the management of the commercial portfolio of the Sobrato Organization, being one of the last to work day-to-day with the company’s founder John A. Sobrato and current chairman John M. Sobrato. Mike was given a masterclass in Bay Area development, operations, risk mitigation and portfolio management. Following his years at Sobrato, Mike founded the development and commercial business of Windy Hill Property Ventures with Tod Spieker and Jamie D’Alessandro. WHPV became the sandbox in which Mike solidified his philosophy around modern place-creation.  He achieved risk mitigation and product strategies around a mixed-use mid-peninsula development pipeline. With this strategy fully tested, Mike has organized Mecah Ventures to better make this the focus of the organization.
